Inside its enclosure is a 3.5 SATA hard drive with a rotational speed of 7200 rpm and a capacity of 16TB so you'll have plenty of space to save your favorite music photos and movies. The Mercury Elite Pro contains a USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 port (which is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1) an eSATA port and two 9-pin FireWire 800 ports (backwards compatible with FireWire 400 using an optional adapter). Along with a USB 3.0 Type-A to B cable the Mercury Elite Pro also comes with Firewire 1394B 9-Pin to 9-Pin and eSATA cables. Please note this hard drive is not compatible with the NewerTech MAXPower RAID mini-SAS 6G-2e eSATA card.
