When this sensor is installed into plumbing it will give you water temperature readings. When installed out of direct sunlight and away from power centers it will get you air temperature. For solar heating readings the sensor needs to be installed in the solar catcher. Used for any Zodiac or Polaris control system. Includes sensor, hose clamp, and o-ring.
